Stay safe, and keep working in bad weather

Less than a third of businesses use cloud based solutions for their business; the effects of the weather over the last few days may cause that decision to be reassessed in some organisations.

Can your staff stay productive? More importantly, can you make sure your customers stay productive at times like these? If the answer is no, then you are at a significant business disadvantage. Perhaps it’s time to look again at how cloud based technology can help your business to maintain normal service for your clients, even if you and your employees can’t reach the office.

Work from anywhere
Simply put, cloud based technology allows you to access, for instance, all your client records with information being accessed, updated and shared anywhere in the world, at any time. So, if staff get socked in by the weather, your business and your customers don’t have to suffer.

Employees can access the information they need to do their jobs and collaborate with each other just as if they were in the office. Documents can be uploaded and shared across the organisation, and accessed by staff from any computer, wherever they happen to be.

This also means you can be sure that everyone is working with the most up-to-date information and this is especially critical for client-facing staff who need completely up to date information at all times.

Security
A good system, such as bxp software, will provide all the security you and your customers need by, for example, limiting system access to pre-approved IP addresses. Naturally, your data remains absolutely secure on the main servers; far safer than staff keeping spread sheets and documents on their laptops and home PC’s!

Safety
In weather such as that we are experiencing, it’s simply safer not to have to ask staff to travel.
