1 Welcome

The bxp bulletin is a newsletter aimed specifically at bxp users. This bulletin provides a round up of the changes and relevant news for the last week.

2 New

2.1 Functions

A new IP summary report for Security Champions is now available. See the path below to find out how to generate this new report.

• Main Menu > System Access Management > Security Reports > Security > Login Report - All IPs

FusionCharts engine upgrade from 3.2.0 to 3.9.0. It is now possible to download the graphs and charts that are displayed within the reports you generate, straight to your desktop. There are many downloadable file types available. For more details click here FusionCharts.

3 Fixes

3.1 Logic

There have been a few modifications and improvements to the Excel form creation / load process. See listing below to find out what has changed.

• Stack auto sets to run, so no need to show Set Working Outcome as part of a sales pitch. Form builds and is ready to go instantly.
• Move Next Record bar also turns on instantly, as it is used a let in demoing and makes it easier for users to check if their data loaded.
• Main Menu > Form Management > Form - Primary Management > Form - Create from Excel

There has been a small modification to the Form Management console. See below.

• If you use Question Management, the top Item "All Settings" now shows all form settings.
• Main Menu > Form Management > Form - Primary Management > Form - Edit

Outcome editing got a little more interesting and a bit more usable. See below.

• Listing shows all outcomes, sorted by live, then by order, then by name alphabetically
• Wixi links added to show features of outcomes more easily
• Main Menu > Form Management > Form - Outcome Manager > Outcome - Edit

When you create a new project through the Time Tracker Module, you are automatically brought to the security part of "Add users to project"

• Main Menu > Time Tracker > Management > Add Project

The interval for generating Trend Reports is now remembered for next use

• Main Menu > Data Profiling > Instant - Visualisations > Visualisation - Quality - Trending Report

Rich text editor has now been updated to facilitate tags for putting in FLV / SWF objects.

4 Security

For new users and for people needing to change their password, by clicking the navigation crumb or one of the I Want To buttons a user could by bypass changing a password. These links have now been removed. A user who's password has been reset or when a new user has been added, they must change their password when they login for the first time.

The failed login report now has summary totals at the top of the page.

• Main Menu > System Access Management > Security Reports > Security > Login Report - Failed Logins
• Main Menu > System Access Management > Security Reports > Security > Login Report - Failed Logins - IP restricted

It is now possible to change the grouping / ordering of the modules in Add User / Edit user scenarios. Add the querystring parameter

• Main Menu > System Access Management > User Administration > Add User - Security Details Only
• /security/userUser_Add_Security-details.asp?strOrdering=ByArea
• /security/userUser_Edit_Security-details.asp?ID=1&strOrdering=ByArea

It is now possible for clients to specify more than one CSS sheet, simply by separating the URLs with commas

• Main Menu > System Access Management > User Administration > Add User - Security Details Only > Interface Options > CSS
• Main Menu > System Access Management > System Management > System Settings > User Interface > CSS

KeyStat refresh rate now configurable which causes resubmit of form. This is very useful for wallboard reporting when the report must be kept up to date constantly.

• Main Menu > KeyStats > KeyStat - Workbook - Add > Refresh Rate

Outcome Security can now add multiple outcomes to multiple users at the same time.

• Main Menu > System Access Management > Security - Content Access > Form Outcome Security - Multiple Add Users to Outcomes
