Human Resource Management as a discipline is managed primarily using the the HRM module to control HR aspects for the system and provide vital reporting and information management.

There are 5 sections to this module

- System Management
- General Reporting

2.1 Administration
This is for HR administrators who will have access to all staff record information and the ability to manage read only data for all users.
- Details
- Details - Update a Live user : Using the system level set ESS, an administrator can edit all fields including the Read Only set fields.
- Details - Update a Retired user : As per Live user but the search only includes retired users.
- Details - Date Lister : a quick navigation engine which allows review of all HR date based fields in the system ESS. Dashboard_-_Date_Lister_engine
- Data
- Data - Missing Documents : Using the Dashboards_-_Missing_EFUs engine allows the administrator to manage for the Employee Documents section of HR settings to manage any EFUs outstanding.
- Diaries
- Diaries - Quick List : Detailed here for viewing entries in the Appointment Management module diaries. Diaries_-_Quick_List
- Forms
- Forms - Manage Forms : Using the Dashboard_-_Category_Status_Worklist engine allows the administrator work on all outstanding queries in the HR selected forms nominated in the Forms section.
2.2 System Management
This section provides the central management options and configuration settings which affects the implementation of HR system wide.

2.3 General Reporting
This reporting allows reporting on all users from a HR perspective.
2.4 Department Manager
A Department is a classification field used in bxp. Every user account in bxp can only have one Department assigned. System_Access_Management_-_Departments
A Department can have a manager and an assistant manager assigned.
For all users that are assigned to that Department, if the current user is a Department Manager or Assistant Manager, they will be able to report and support all users in their Department.
There are basic editing and group reporting tools to help them better manage their staff.
- My Department - Profile : provides a security view of all the users in the department
- My Department - Data : provides a system level or department customised ESS view of the user
- My Department - Missing Documents : provides a way of tracking documents required of staff in their department.
2.5 Security Group Manager
The organogram of the bxp system allows groups of users to be created. Organogram_with_Group_Profiling
Each Security Group can have a manager assigned.
For all users that are assigned to that Security Group, if the current user is a Security Group Manager, they will be able to report and support all users in their Security Group.
There are basic editing and group reporting tools to help them better manage their staff.
