1 Overview

1.1 What is the wixi?

The wixi is an online encyclopedia of everything to do with bxp.

The name comes from a software tool called MediaWiki. MediaWiki most famously is the engine that delivers Wikipedia.

All n One have downloaded and installed MediaWiki on our webserver and customised our own instance of MediaWiki.

Wikipedia articles are often refered to as Wikis. As bxp has an x in it's name we tweak the title slightly to refer to Wixis.

You are reading this article on our Wixi at the moment.

The Wixi is a public resource and you do not need to log into bxp to use it.
