1 Overview

This document forms part of the bxp Release 10 Service Enhancement Release 2 suite of changes found here Bxp_Release_10_SER_2_prerelease_notes

1.1 Appointment Management

1.1.1 Limiting Category by Diary

The categories for Appointment Management are universal. This allows category types to be reported on across different diaries. This makes the list very long in some instances. An extension to the options in a Diary was added and implemented through the interface to limit category types by diary.

1.1.2 Diary - Add / Edit layout change

As a result of the addition of this field some minor adjustment of the tabs and the fields on each tab were made.

• Tab 1 was changed from "Features" to "Settings"
• Tab 2 is a new tab called "Filters"
• The field "Features" was moved to "Filters"
• The field "Filtering On / Off" was renamed to "Filtering"
• The field "Filtering" was moved to "Filters"
• The new field "Limit Categories" was added to "Filters"
• The field "Private / Public" was moved to the "Notifications" tab

1.1.3 Quick Filter Listing report

In bxp Release 9 SER 1 the Period, Person, Category filter report was introduced. This provides a filtering report for Diaries. Bxp_Release_9_SER_1_-_Release_Notes#Changes_and_fixes

This new report engine is for people who need to do a lot of filters on a Diary quickly. The engine for this report was explicitly added for the ESS engine to allow users to report on their involved appointments.
