Outcome Security allows you to permit or deny access to a given outcome. When enabled, all users will no outcomes by default. They must be granted explicit access to the outcomes.


1 Enabling Outcome Security

To enable outcome security:


Main Menu > Form Management 038.png > Database - Primary Management > Form - Edit > Select the database > Open Advanced Options > Set Use Outcome Security to True >Scroll down and click Update.


Administration of the security is done through System Access Management 016.png:


Main Menu > System Access Management > Security - Content Access > Form Outcome Security - *


These functions are managed in Database - Outcome Access.


  1. Outcome - Profile access to an Outcome
  2. Outcome - Single User grant access
  3. Outcome - Multiple User grant access
  4. Outcome - Multiple User remove access


2 Outcome Security Management

2.1 Outcome - Profile access to an Outcome

  • Select the form from the list.
  • Select the Outcome from the list of outcomes provided.
  • Click on profile outcome.
  • A list of users with access to this outcome will be returned to the screen.


2.2 Outcome - Single User grant access

  • Select the outcome from the dropdown list.
  • Select the user in which you would like to grant access to.
  • Click Store Assignment.


2.3 Outcome - Multiple User grant access

  • Select the form.
  • Select the outcome you wish to grant access to.
  • Check the box beside all appropriate users or click Select All.


2.4 Outcome - Multiple User remove access

  • Select the form.
  • Select the Outcome.
  • Check the box beside the appropriate users.
  • Save and Continue.
