Webinars
From All n One's bxp software Wixi
We at bxp are constantly receiving invitations to join webinars that are hosted by a range of different companies and organisations across the globe.
These can be in relation to just about anything, from Contact Centre metrics to Data security to managing MySQL on a server.
These webinars can provide specific yet important information about relevant topics that can help us improve our daily working lives.
Although webinars are great sources of information and we can learn a lot from them, the majority of the time we can never join or view them because we are either busy
or the times at which they are presented aren't suitable for us.
This is generally the case with webinars hosted by US organisations who most of the time host their webinars at 18:00-19:00 Irish and UK time.
Most organisations archive their webinar presentations or videos, which allows you to view them at your own convenience.
If however you need to attend a webinar on behalf of someone else but you are unable to attend it, you have the option of recording it live using a screen capture tool
which allows you to record the webinar and allow you to work on something else at the same time.
There are a number of screen capture tools available for use, however the software that we have found to be the best is Camtasia Studio.
Camtasia Studio allows you to record a specific area of your screen or even one particular screen if you have multiple monitors.
You also have the option of recording both a microphone input and also your system audio or even just one or the other.
It also allows you to convert your recorded videos into different formats so they can be viewed across different platforms.
