There is a suite of advanced configuration options available. Clicking the yellow ~ button called Examination Management will change the console and the options available.

It is possible to build in a timer to a test to force submission in a given time window.
* Mintues to Complete : Forces the total exam time.
* Minutes to End Warning : Reminder to the student when coming to the end.
* Minutes to End Message : What message to use in the reminder.
For once off tests it can be useful to put a "cover sheet" on the test to allow the test to be on screen before going in. This also allows for extra instructions to be delivered before taking the test.
* Preshow Instructions : Show the holding page before the exam is displayed
If the test is to be printed for manual completion, it can have extra data added for printing.
* Show Candidate Data : Repeat the candidates details at the top of the test
* Show Pass Mark : Show the passing mark at the top of the test
Regardless of open or closed question types, do you want to allow the user to comment?
* Allow Comment : Allow a candidate add a comment to the end of a test
It is possible to help force a user to answer all questions. This is especially effective in negative marking closed tests.
* Candidate Must Answer All : Ensure that the candidate selects an answer in each question
Each question has the ability to be linked to training / support material. Should this link to that material be displayed?
* During Test - Show External References : Show or Hide the external website references buttons
* During Test - Show eCourse References : Show or Hide the quick link to eCourse buttons

* Release Results : Release the Exam results for students to view their scores as soon as a test is submitted. Only works for Closed question tests.

For closed question tests, it is possible to put custom messages on screen for those who have passed / failed.

=== Email Results Copy ===
It is possible to send an automatic email at the end of the test. This is useful for sending to managers. If the top option is set to true OR if the "Send another copy to" is filled in, the email will send.
* Send a copy to Candidate : Email a copy to the candidate
* Send another copy to : Blind carbon copy to another set recipient(s)
* Email Subject : The subject of the email. If left blank, one is system generated.
* Email Body : The template body of the email. Use [result] in the body to set the specific location of the results.
Separate access to an eCourse will need to be granted from access to the test and vice versa, as both the Test and eCourse are independent items. [[ECourse_Chapter_-_Edit]]
