1 Overview

LogicFlow 058.png is a Knowledge Base trouble shooting system that uses Logic Trees to help navigate trouble shooting scenarios.

LogicFlow is a self-contained, logic branching and information resource tool. It is designed to facilitate the centralised documentation of objection handling and business dictated reasoning. It can be managed at a team level and easily updated. It provides a memory aide for experienced agents and is an effective training tool for new agents.

Logic Flow has three sections:

  1. LogicFlow
  2. Manage
  3. Reporting

2 Creating a Tree

You begin by building a tree.

Main Menu > LogicFlow > Manage > Create Tree

  • Title : This is the name of the tree
  • Description : This is the content that appears when a user first opens the tree.
  • Allow Request Clarification: This is a communication mechanism to allow the Tree author to be contact to provide further update / clarification on an item.

Click "Update Template" and your Tree will be created.

When a tree is first created, only you will have access to the tree. When it is ready to use, you can grant more people access to use it.

You can view your tree from

Main Menu > LogicFlow > LogicFlow > Start > Select the tree you created >

3 Adding Branches

So as you being you will realise that the tree begins with no options. You need to add options to the tree. These options are called branches.

To add a branch to your tree

Main Menu > LogicFlow > Manage > Add Branch > Select the tree you created >

Tree Title : For your first tree, you will only have one option in Parent. This will be the root of the tree.

Parent : For your first branch, the root of the tree will be your only option. As you add branches, more options will appear. Only additions of type "Branch" will be displayed in this list.

Title : This is the title for your branch.

Type: There are a number of types available

  • Branch : This allows for further branching within the tree
  • Description : This is a leaf i.e. the end of a branch with nowhere else to go.
  • Campaign : Will redirect the user into a Form
  • eCourse : This will redirect the user into an eCourse page
  • Reference : This allows for any URL to be made available internally or externally to bxp

Description: Shows the text to be displayed on the page. This only appears for Branch and Description types.

Link : Allows you to input an ID for the Campaign, unique reference for an eCourse, or URL for a Reference type.

When you have chosen, you choose "Add Branch"

You can view your tree from

Main Menu > LogicFlow > LogicFlow > Start > Select the tree you created >

4 Granting Access

When you have built your Tree and you are ready for others to view / use / test your tree, you must grant them access to the Tree.

Main Menu > LogicFlow > Manage > Security - Allow users access a tree > Select the tree you created > Select the users you wish to grant permission to

These users can then access the tree via

Main Menu > LogicFlow > LogicFlow > Start > Select the tree >
