The Vertical Layout Options of a form allow you to edit the opening and closing script and control some other settings.

The opening and closing scripts appear at the top and bottom of a form and allow you to define a script for the person managing the form to follow.

If you are working on a record, you can pull out the value of any field and use it in the script by typing the field name in between a sequence of four dashes. The below screenshot illustrates a script where the value of the date field on the form it displayed on the script. FieldreferenceVerticaldelivery.png

There is also an option on the vertical delivery options page to allow users to move between the records in a form. Setting the value of “Record Move Next Bar” to true will display buttons at the top of the form to navigate between records in a form. Setting this value to false will remove the buttons and this functionality.

The dial out instructions allow you type in a dialling code to be displayed along with the opening script to aid users of the form.

The mail merge button name is a field where you can type in a new name to appear on the print button if there’s any outcomes using mail merge.
