1 Overview
The power of an outcome is that it can send to large groups via the External Communication of Intra Communication engines.
When there are large groups of users to receive an email and that group changes often this can result in a lot of changes to outcomes.
The easier solution is to use a Security Group.
The Security Group as part of the Organogram allows people and different teams and groups to be created. From this the communications details of a group can be figured out.
2 Setup
Create your organogram branches as required.
Next get the Id of the branch and it's sub-branches you want to communicate with. The function will bring in everyone in the sub-branches but remove duplicates before sending.
In the BCC field of the outcome use the code
##SecGroup-XXX##
XXX is the Id of the branch of the tree and it's sub-branches to include. Please note that this code is case sensitive.
As the fields are BCC'd it's important to send a test group to make sure those who you want to receive the communications do receive it.
