1 1 Overview

This document lists the process to be followed with regards to assets owned by All n One.


2 2 Staff Requests

Their are four requests possible for staff within All n One

  • Staff member requires a NEW asset
  • Staff member requires an UPGRADE of an asset
  • Staff member requires a REPLACEMENT of an asset
  • Staff member has LOST an asset


All staff requests for Assets are to be made through Infrastructure / Security department


3 3 Asset Control

All n One maintains asset control though the asset registers ability to log assets in use/ in storage / in use in the field (out of office). All assets that are purchased by All n One are to be assigned an asset tag and logged within the asset register upon arrival in the office.

3.1 3.1 Asset Sources

Assets owned by All n One are stored in four different locations. These items can be tracked through the dashboard link provided above.

The four assets sources are:

  • Secure Cabinet : Holds small assets of All n One (NETWORK EQUIPEMENT,Hard Disks, External caddies, R.A.M chips, External Hard drives, USB hubs etc.)
  • Warehouse : Holds larger assets of All n One (Tower units, Printers, Scanner, Shredder, Laptops, Monitors)
  • Spares Cabinet : Holds small assets with low value (Spare cables, mouses, keyboards)
  • BXP Software : Contained within the assets register dashboard is a link to Licences. (Within this report is all of the software licences and their assigned machine.)


3.2 3.2 NEW requests

Any request for a new asset is to be logged by the staff member by e-mailing / logging a ticket for the infrastrucutre department. The infrastrucutre department will then present the costs to the board of directors for them to make the final decision on weather or not the asset is a requirement for business operation


3.3 3.3 Upgrade requests

Any request for an upgrade of an asset is to be logged by the staff member by e-mailing / logging a ticket for the infrastrucutre department. The infrastrucutre department will then present the costs to the board of directors for them to make the final decision on weather or not an upgrade is viable.
