The Survey Management module 060.png allows for surveys to be built, delivered and reported on from bxp software (bxp).


This module is currently in Alpha release with select clients and is undergoing functionality and feedback review. ( As of 2014-08-18 )


1 Overview

There are many survey modules available from numerous suppliers with the biggest being SurveyMonkey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/). Surveys have the powerful ability to bring insight into people's opinion. This ability is often used in a variety of ways through bxp software already.


  • Contact Centre: Net Promoter Score, Customer Experience Score, Customer Satisfaction Surveys
  • Customer Relationship Management: Product Opinion Polls, Customer Satisfaction Surveys
  • eLearning: Smile sheets, Student Opinion Scores
  • Quality Assurance: Program improvement surveys, Smile sheets, Calibration exercises


The challenge with using independent tools is that it reduces the visibility of interaction with specific people e.g. Of all the people who did the course, how many filled in their smile sheets; With all the customers in our database who gave us the lowest scores so we can create an outbound campaign to follow up with them.


bxp provides an integrated survey engine which plugs into numerous existing modules of bxp or can work as a standalone solution similar to existing on-line survey solutions.


2 Security

A huge aspect of survey delivery is ensuring that the right people are answering the right surveys. bxp allows for surveys to be restricted by login. So the people you need to answer the survey can access the survey without it being globally accessible. This is accomplished through the use of free placeholder accounts, enabling as many users as required to answer surveys securely.


Alternately surveys can be made public, thus allowing anyone to participate.


bxp through its Clickthru engine, can provide public surveys with tracking to record which account the survey came from. This cannot guarantee the desired person is filling in the survey, but it does allow you to track who is passing the survey around and the source of the supplier of the link. This can be very useful for marketing exercises.


Any data or interaction with bxp is supported by the full weight of the entire bxp infrastructure and architecture which is to banking level security requirements.


3 Creation

For traditional users of bxp, the building of a survey is identical to the building of any existing form. For people new to the process, bxp provides an easy to use interface, which allows you to add as many questions as you like in a structured way.


Features:

  • Closed questions (such as drop down lists, radio buttons or check boxes) can be easily modified with no programming
  • The bxp interface allows drag and drop reordering of questions
  • It is also possible to group questions, so one page of the survey may have one or more questions on the page.
  • The bxp engine allows logic to be easily built into the questions to allow logic branch, i.e. if you choose yes go to question 14, if you choose no go to question 15.


bxp provides an extremely customisable engine from which thousands of possibilities can be realised.

4 Reporting

bxp reporting is real time. Any closed question is charted in real time. So as soon as answers are presented the reporting is immediately available.


Intelligent reporting allows results to sorted by numerous criteria and if there is some way you would like to present the data that we currently don't do, we have the KeyStats module to build custom reports or you can export the data to Excel and filter as you required.


The reports provide out of the box and customisable analytical tools to allow you understand your data and your people.
