The module KeyStats allows for completely customised reports to be built that generate their figures in real-time and deliver through a tabbed interface similar to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

1 Structure

There are three levels on which KeyStats works

  1. KeyStat: (orange arrow) This is one number, a key statistic. It will have a very specific foucs. How many sales did Team A have in Week 3 of this year?
  2. KeyStat - Tab: (red arrow) This is like a sheet in an Excel Workbook. It is an HTML template, into which many KeyStats can be put.
  3. KeyStat - Workbook: This could be considered the Excel Workbook. Into it can go numerous KetStat tabs.

2 Uses of KeyStats

The KeyStats module is aimed at delivering facilities that must:

  • delivery reports that look like existing Excel reports
  • work as a contact centre wall board
  • require Gamificiation data and material to be available in a sandbox development environment

3 Using KeyStats as an Excel Report

KeyStats can be generated from any data that is in bxp. Counts of records, outcomes, contacts or any interactions with data.

Tables of data can be generated and summated. Summation is done using JavaScript or KeyStats.

Percentages are also calculated in real time to provide target percentage reporting.

Colouring of cells based on values can be applied.

Most importantly the data is generated in real-time.

4 Using KeyStats as a contact centre wall board

As in the reports being used in real time, it is possible to generate live operational dashboards of information showing daily, weekly, quarterly or even year to date figures instantly.

The wall boards can come in many forms.

Partnering with Tom Harte and Cormac O'Donnell and the team over in BlueSun Software ( http://www.bluesunsoftware.com/ ) it is possible to deliver interactive and engaging wall boards which stream real time statistics.

5 Using KeyStats to deliver Gamification

Gamification is defined in Wikipedia as

"Gamification is the use of game thinking and game mechanics in non-game contexts to engage users in solving problems. Gamification has been studied and applied in several domains, such as to improve user engagement, physical exercise, return on investment, data quality, timeliness, and learning. A review of research on gamification shows that most studies on gamification find positive effects from gamification."

All n One partnering with Tom Harte and Cormac O'Donnell and the team over in BlueSun Software ( http://www.bluesunsoftware.com/ ) it is possible to deliver interactive and engaging gamification which have real world impact on operational performance.
