1 Overview

The Media Manager module 052.png is used for supporting tracking marketing activity.

In marketing, a media code, is a code placed in advertising to allow marketers to track where marketing spend (i.e. buying advertisements) is being used most effectively.

Whilst online advertising has the technical capabilities to easily track the hows and wheres of user's clicking adverts, traditional media such as tv, radio, printed newspaper, billboards and hoarding and even flyers are harder to manage.

bxp provides a per contact ability to record media codes. Using a variety of technologies and approaches, bxp can support the tracking of

  • Phone: Using dedicated numbers, IVR and question asking approaches.
  • TV and Radio: Using supported media schedules, dedicated phone numbers and question asking.
  • Billboards and printed media: Using tracking codes, supported media schedules, dedicated phone numbers and question asking.
  • Digital media : Email, social media and website integration is fully supported through the bxp api

The Media Manager module provides a number of supportive tools dedicated to this activity including.

  • Data reporting for marketing analysis (which is Data Protection compliant)
  • Unified media marketing reporting
  • The ability to load media schedules for direct integration into forms and active campaigns
