= Overview = The bxp software (bxp) module Time Tracker [[File:020.png]] is a time sheet, project management and working time tracking tool used for logging people's hours spent on projects or on specific work.
It allows users to log their time spent on selected projects.
A user decides to log their time. ''Main Menu > Time Tracker > General > '' * Staff: From this section it is only possible to log time There are two views for yourself.* Company Name: The name of the company you're doing the work for* Project: A drop down list of projects. Projects are managed through the Task Management module* Start Date / Time: When the work began* End Date / Time: When the work finished* Non-working time: Between the start and end time, how many minutes were non-working* Work type: This is management from the Management section of the Time and Working Hour Tracking section.* Comments: An open field to allow a user to leave as many or as little notes as required. When ready click the "Store Working Time" button to log the logging time. It is not possible for a user to edit their submissions after clicking the button. == Log My Time - Day View ==This page allows a user to log their time in half hour chunks. For each time slot there are five fields to be filled in: * Project: A dropdown list of all the projects on the company’s system.* Work Type: A dropdown list of the different types of work performed.* Reference: A text field to enter a ticket or job number for the work completed.* Description: A brief description of the work completed.* Billable: A checkbox which indicates if the work is billable. [[File:mainFunctionality.png]] There is also a copy button which when clicked, will copy all the information from the line above into the current line. Many users would spend more than half an hour on a single piece of work; the copy button allows a user to quickly fill in the same data for work that lasts longer than half an hour.
