1 Introduction
All n One operate a number of processes and procedures for systems security. Each member of staff is constantly reminded of their security responsibilities by being responsible for their own computers security. To facilitate this there are a number of programs and step by step instructions that need to be followed.
This wixi article supports those internal procedures with useful supporting information that can be useful to all users.
2 System Security
2.1 Anti-Virus Scan
One tool is AVG Free http://free.avg.com
2.2 Anti-Spyware scanner
One tool is Spybot Search and Destroy https://www.safer-networking.org/mirrors16/
2.3 Operating System Updates
For Microsoft Windows 7 machines:
- Please click the start menu and type "windows update" into the run bar
- select the "windows update" tab.
- In the top left of the newly opened ‘windows update menu select the option for "Check for updates"
2.4 Installed Software Check
For Microsoft Windows 7 machines:
- Click on the start menu and select "control panel"
- Then select "programs"
- then "programs and features"
- The next step is to select the "installed on" to organise the programs by date installed.
