1 Overview
This wixi article will show you how you can use the bxp multiple eCourse search functionality, either through the front end of bxp or by creating your own customised search URL's.
The bxp multiple eCourse search functionality allows a user to select a number of eCourses that they have access too and in those books search a particular keyword or phrase.
2 Multiple Book Search
To use the bxp multiple eCourse search functionality simply navigate the following system path:
Main Menu > eCourse > Read > Search Multiple Books
Once you have navigated the above system path you will be presented with a list of eCourse in your instance of bxp, from here simply select the eCourse or eCourse that you wish to search in.
After you have selected the desired eCourse, simply scroll to the end of the page and click the Select Books button.
Once you have selected the desired eCourse and clicked on the select button you will be redirected to an new page that displays the books that are currently being search, from here you will be able to enter
in you search word or phrase. After typing in your search word or phrase simply click on the Search Pages(s) button at the end of the page.
You will then be presented with a list of all eCourse chapters and pages that matched your search criteria, to open an eCourse that appears in the search results simply click on the name of the eCourse Page
3 Custom URL Search
If you wish to use the bxp multiple eCourse search functionality through the use of a custom URL, all you need to do is get the eCourse book id's that you want search in.
After you get the book Id's you simply need to create the a custom URL:
