The I Want To bar provides a number of useful interface features for bxp software (bxp) users.
For various operational reasons there may be reasons to turn off some / all the elements.
Whilst the engine for the pages will still be accessible IF the user knows the URL, (e.g. stored in the favourites) however the link can be removed.
Control of the I Want To bar is done through JavaScript from its own custom library available from https://ww3.allnone.ie/library/javascript/fn_javascript_iwantto.js
The two functions in the library are
- function fn_General_IWT_Main_ShowHide ( blShow_All, blShow_TDReminders, blShow_TDChange, blShow_TDHelp, blShow_TDeCourse )
- function fn_General_IWT_Item_ShowHide ( blShow_View, blShow_Add, blShow_MyDetails, blShow_Password, blShow_Wixi, blShow_Suggestion, blShow_HelpMe, blShow_Change, blShow_eCourse )
The first function allows the blocks to be quickly disabled.
The second function allows individual buttons to be disabled.
To make the effect happen on all pages in the system
Main Menu > System Access Management > System Management > System Settings > Page Footer
