1 Introduction

From time to time it may happen that a user cannot log in, being shown an error indicating that their profile is locked.

The main reason that this happens is if the user's password is entered incorrectly. The default is set to three incorrect entries.

2 How does a user get locked out?

There are a number of security settings that can see a user locked out.

3 Solution

The solution is very simple

1) Go to the Main Menu > System Access Management 016.png > User Setup Requests > Release Lockout

2) Press the button beside the user in question and this will unlock that account.

NOTE: If the following message "No accounts are currently locked out", then either the user has already been unlocked, or the users issue in logging is down to another reason. Try here for more help Troubleshooting_-_User_Logins
