When the lookup page is opened, there is special JavaScript on the lookup page to put the cursor in a specific field. The default field is always the ID field. For efficiency it is possible to get the cursor to start in a field other than the ID field. Setting the "Generic Start Point Search Field" to the field desired allows for more efficient searching.
 
 
 
== Data to display ==
Current Status and New Status are shown on screen. Current is what it was. New is what it will be when the record is saved. These are the fields of data that are shown to the user when a lookup is performed. If you would like to show the name of the person looked up, then set the Firstname and Surname to true. Showing too much data is not useful. Showing too little data is also counter-productive. As this option can be changes as often as you like, so it is worth experimenting with options.
