Appointment Management - Outlook Integration

Often using appointment diary people want to use Outlook as their calendaring tool.

bxp facilitates a read-only integration with Outlook. i.e. In Outlook you can only read the items. You need to log into bxp to modify any item.

Start with a URL as follows

webcal://ww3.allnone.ie/client/client_demo/cti/bxpCalendar.asp?ID=X

X is the ID of the diary you want to integrate into your Outlook.

You have to be really careful choosing options. Importing a calendar is a once off option. A subscription will update every time you hit send and receive. Using the webcal, it'll convert to a subscription, do not use a http or https link starting off. Make sure you use the webcal://
