= Overview = bxp software (bxp) provides a secure hosted environment with extensive functionality but there are occasions where large numbers of users require access to limited functionality and in these instances normal user accounts may not be appropriate. Placeholders provide free, partial access to the system to bridge that gap .
The primary overarching benefit of placeholder accounts is that they are not billed.
= Functionality =
NOTES: Placeholder forms do not support customised JavaScript or links to eCourse references. For reporting purposes data logged in the form by a placeholder is available through Data Profiling but only as Data and Visualisation reports. Statistics and Scoring apply to live user accounts only. Custom forms and reports can be built as one-off, chargeable events.
= System Uses =
* Placeholders can prevent accidents with double entry of staff names and details
* Placeholders can be group texted and group emailed from the Communications Centre module

To set an account as a placeholder:
