== Instant Fail a whole assessment ==
This process of splitting the Score and the Threshold, also allows for the introduction of an instant fail without the need to introduce negative marking. Say for example there is a really important question in your QA script e.g. Data Protection laws were adhered to? Firstly the option to allow an instant Fail keyword to be used must be turned on. It is by default set to True. Main Menu > Form Management > Form - Primary Management > Form - Edit > Choose your Form > From the console on the left choose Quality Options > In the Create section on the right find "Allow Fail All" A special code "Fail" without the double inverted comma can be put into the weighting box of any weighted question. This will result in a score of 0 being issued to the question, but overall, no matter what score the user gets, the assessment will show a Threshold of Fail. This approach allows averages to be maintained without the need for negative scoring and still represent an assessment as a fail.For more information click here [[Quality_Outright_Fail]]
