This article takes you step by step in sharing a report through Report Library


2 Step 1 - Uploading a report

Go to


Main Menu > Report Library > Report Library > Report Library - Administration > Upload Custom Report to the Report Library >


Find the file you want to share and then click "Upload File"

The next screen asks for a bit more information. If you're uploading the file on behalf of someone else change the top box. The second entry "Add Contact History" is for another process not used here. By default the user will go to you. Simply choose the form to attach the report to and scroll to the bottom and click "Append"

The following screen allows you to perform the communications parts.

Form Details

  • Form: Confirmation of the form to attach to
  • Uploaded by: Confirmation of whom the report will appear uploaded by

File Details

  • The name of the file uploaded
  • Date and Time of upload
  • Size in Kb and Mb
  • File Type is extracted automatically from the content type uploaded


Extra Information

  • The report name allows you to log the report as any name you like in the Report Library
  • Comments are useful reminder comments which will display with the report name
  • Email notification to allows you to enter multiple email addresses, separated by commas, to receive notification of the upload.


When ready click "Make Report Live". The following screen appears when the details have been logged and the email sent.

3 Step 2 - The email

The report is instantly live in Report Library however an email notification will be sent out as follows.

4 Step 3 - Retrieving the report

Main Menu > Report Library > Report Library > Report Library > Report Library > Choose the Form >


Simply click the Reportlibrary 003.png icon to download the file

5 Step 4 - Audit reports

Every action in the system is audit trailed. The easiest reports to use for tracking Report Library usage are the Usage Profile report or the System Event Audit Report
