Form - Security Access

Database - Security Access manages the following functions:

  1. Form - Profile access to a user
  2. Form - Single - Add - User to form
  3. Form - Multiple - Add - Users to form
  4. Form - Multiple - Add - Form to users
  5. Form - Multiple - Remove - Users from form
  6. Profile access to a Database
  7. Add Security groups to a Database
  8. Add Databases to a security group
  9. Remove Security groups from a Database
  10. Remove Databases from a security group

1 Form - Profile access to a user

  • Choose the form.
  • A list of authorised users will be displayed.
  • The date and time of each users’ last interaction with the form will also be listed.

2 Form - Single - Add - User to form

  • Choose the form.
  • Find the user on the dropdown list below the form list.
  • Store assignment.

3 Form - Multiple - Add - Users to form

  • Choose the form.
  • Check the box beside the users you wish to grant access.
  • When appropriate, you can use Select All at the top of the page.
  • Save and continue.

4 Form - Multiple - Add - Forms to Users

  • Lookup the appropriate user and click on their name.
  • A list of forms will be returned to the screen.
  • Check the box beside the forms you wish to add
  • When appropriate use Select All at the top of the screen.

5 Form - Multiple - Remove - Users from Form

  • Choose the form.
  • Check the box beside the users that you would like to remove.
  • Click the delete button.

6 Profile access to a database

  • Choose the form.
  • The groups with security access to this form will be displayed.

7 Add Security groups to a Database

  • Choose the form from the dropdown list.
  • Choose the group from the list.
  • Store the assignment.

8 Add Databases to a Security Group

  • Select the group from the list.
  • Check the boxes beside the appropriate forms.
  • When relevant select all the forms using Select All.
  • Click Continue.

9 Remove Security Groups from a Database

  • Choose the form.
  • Select the group you wish to remove access to by checking the box beside their name.
  • Click the Delete button.

10 Remove Databases from Security Groups

  • Choose the Group.
  • Select the forms you wish to remove from this security group by checking the appropriate box.
  • Click Delete.
