Form - Security Access

In the section Database - Security Access, the following functionality occurs:

  1. Form - Profile access to a user
  2. Form - Single - Add - User to form
  3. Form - Multiple - Add - Users to form
  4. Form - Multiple - Add - Form to users
  5. Form - Multiple - Remove - Users from form
  6. Profile access to a Database

1 Form - Profile access to a user

  • Choose the form.
  • A list of users with access to this form will be returned to the screen.
  • The date and time of the users last activity with this form will also be listed.

2 Form - Single - Add - User to form

  • Choose the form from the dropdown list.
  • Choose the user for the dropdown list below the form list.
  • Store assignment.
  • This user now has access to this form.

3 Form - Multiple - Add - Users to form

  • Choose the form.
  • Check the box beside the users you wish to grant access to.
  • Alternatively, you can select all using the Select All button at the top of the page.
  • Save and continue.
  • These users have not been added to this form.

4 Form - Multiple - Add - Forms to Users

  • Lookup the user to add multiple forms to.
  • Enter their name in the text box if you know it.
  • If you do not know their name, click on the Lookup button at the top of the page.
  • A complete list of users will be returned to the screen.
  • Click on the user you wish to add forms to.
  • A list of forms will be returned to the screen.
  • Check the box beside the forms you wish to add.
  • Alternatively, Select All the forms listed by clicking on the Select All button at the top of the screen.

5 Form - Multiple - Remove - Users from Form

  • Choose the form.
  • A list of users will be returned to the screen.
  • Check the box beside the users that you would like to remove from the form.
  • Click the delete button.
  • These users can be added again at a later date.

6 Profile access to a database

  • Choose the form.
  • The groups with security access to this form will be returned to the screen.

7 Add Security groups to a Database

  • Choose the form from the dropdown list.
  • Choose the group from the list of groups from the dropdown list.
  • Store the assignment.
  • This security group has now been added to the selected form.

8 Add Databases to a Security Group

  • Select the group from the list of groups listed on the screen.
  • Choose the forms from the list by checking the box beside the name.
  • Alternatively, select all the forms by clickin the Select All button at the top of the screen.
  • Click Continue.
  • This security group has now been added to the forms selected.

9 Remove Security Groups from a Database

  • Choose the form.
  • Select the group you wish to remove access to by checking the box beside their name.
  • Click the Delete button.
  • This group no longer has access to this form.

10 Remove Databases from Security Groups

  • Choose the Group.
  • Select the forms you wish to remove from this security group by checking the box beside their name.
  • Click Delete.
  • These forms have now been removed from this security group.
