There are many survey modules available from numerous suppliers with the biggest being SurveyMonkey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/). Surveys have the powerful ability to bring insight into people's opinion. This ability is often used in a variety of ways through bxp software already.
* Contact Centre: Net Promoter Score, Customer Experience Score, Customer Satisfaction Surveys
* eLearning: Smile sheets, Student Opinion Scores
* Quality Assurance: Program improvement surveys, Smile sheets, Calibration exercises
The challenge with using independent tools is that it reduces the visibility of interaction with specific people e.g. Of all the people who did the course, how many filled in their smile sheets; With all the customers in our database who gave us the lowest scores so we can create an outbound campaign to follow up with them.
