Form Dates bracket the time period for which the form will be available. This is particularly useful for timed release and ensuring that menus are kept tidy. Note that a Form End Date is the first thing you should check if your form suddenly seems to have disappeared.
Timed visibility is often used in Tests to make sure that work is completed on time.
