1 Overview
FusionCharts, part of InfoSoft Global Ltd, is privately held software provider of data visualization products with offices in Bangalore and Kolkata, India
They have different suites of charting and visualisation tools
- FusionCharts XT http://www.fusioncharts.com/charts/fusioncharts/
- FusionWidgets XT http://www.fusioncharts.com/charts/fusionwidgets/
- PowerCharts XT http://www.fusioncharts.com/charts/powercharts/
- FusionMaps XT http://www.fusioncharts.com/charts/fusionmaps/
Of these only FusionCharts is currently integrated with bxp, though the others could be easily integrated as client requirement dictates.
2 Version management
Official FusionCharts version history is available from http://www.fusioncharts.com/version-history/
- On 2015-10-07, we have moved from 3.2.2 up to 3.9.0.
- On 2016-09-10, we have moved from 3.9.0 up to 3.11.0.
FusionCharts previously used Adobe Flash objects to render the charts, but with the latest browsers now not accepting plug-ins we are rapidly moving away from flash objects to pure JavaScript solutions. e.g. As of this date Microsoft Edge and the latest version of Chrome (45.0) will not use plug-ins.
3 Features
- Charts can be exported as SVG, PNG, JPG or PDF : http://www.fusioncharts.com/features/export-charts-as-images-and-PDF/
Note: Fusion Charts do not support exportable pie charts in Internet Explorer at present but they are working on a solution.
FusionCharts have many other customisation features. http://www.fusioncharts.com/features/
