Dashboard - Date Lister engine

1 Overview
Often different parts of bxp have date time fields which are use for various reporting and categorisation abilities. bxp provides a generic quick listing engine using these date fields to generate reports and quick skip through records with their dates in mind.
2 Applications
Date Lister is usable against bxp forms and is available through the Dashboards module.
Date Lister is usable against HR fields and is available through the HR module.
3 Layout
The top line provides a drop down list of the fields available to be searched on.
- For forms, all date time fields will be listed.
- For HR, all fields used in the system ESS will be available.
The buttons below set the dates of focus for the field
- The top row goes from past, to present to future.
- The second row are greater windows centred around the current date with All also being available.
The body of the report lists the records that match that criteria.
- For forms, the fields displayed can be customised or by default will use the Search fields specified for the form. The system will use the first column to provide a link to go to that record.
- For HR applications, the fields displayed are set and various uses of the engine in the HR module link to different places for record editing and review.
