== Purpose ==

The purpose of this part of the demo is to introduce the reporting dashboards capability in BXP, specifically the eCourse management reporting dashboard.

Though there are many reports available the majority of reporting is when tests are integrated into the eCourses.

== Background ==

Reporting is an extensively addressed and vital part of the platform. With a complete audit trail for every action performed in BXP it becomes vital to get the right report to provide key information to users, management and those requiring strategic overviews.

After using BXP it becomes very clear that anything is possible. To get users to start to understand the infinite flexibility of the tool a number of canned reports and dashboards are presented as a starting point for new users to the system.

As a user becomes more comfortable with the system, customised dashboards, layouts and customised reports become possible.

Why not chat to us to discuss your precise requirements and see how they will be delivered by BXP.
These reports are usually applied by the trainers for a number of reasons.

= Introduction =

== Purpose ==

The purpose of this part of the demo is to introduce the structure used by bxp software (bxp) for managing eLearning content.

By capturing a Book, Chapter and Page title, the content is created.

== Background ==

eLearning is made up of a number of tools in a virtuous circle of improvement. Train - Test - Feedback.

The first part of this circle is to deliver the training. This training is done through the eCourse module. The eCourse module uses a structure based on the SCORM model. http://scorm.com/scorm-explained/

Many different providers implement the SCORM model but few systems are as easy to manage and manipulate as bxp. A business requirement for bxp was that it was easy to create structures into which existing content could be put. Control and distribution of this material then also needed to be very easy.

Every Book, Chapter, Page and Asset of material has its own unique identifying number. These reference numbers can easily become the basis of ISO documentation and can help standardise documentation throughout an organisation.

In 2010 All n One won an award for the eLearning aspects of bxp from the CCMA. Best New Product or Service to the Contact Centre Industry. https://www.ccma.ie/awards/297/2010-awards-winners.html

= Common Applications and Scenarios =

There are a number of scenarios to which eLearning can be applied

* bxp for Career Path Development and Management http://www.allnone.ie/wixi/index.php?title=Scenario_-_bxp_for_Career_Path_Development_and_Management
* bxp for Learning and Documentation Centralisation http://www.allnone.ie/wixi/index.php?title=Scenario_-_bxp_for_Learning_and_Documentation_Centralisation
* A = Answer
* L = Relevant link (if applicable)

* Q: Are there limitations to what can be uploaded?
* A: No. bxp will accept any uploaded content. If it is possible to display the content in-browser it will render the HTML based on the file name extension found.

* Q: What if I have very large files / lots of files?
* A: bxp supports SFTP file transfer of large volumes and varying sizes of files for quick eCourse creation.

Data Visualisation Options

Nick Wheeler:

Data Visualisations are a very powerful tool. They take any closed question (list/menu, radio button, check box, number list), counts up the total answers and can then draw bar charts and pie charts based on those figures.

[[File:SampleVisualisation.jpg]]

Sometimes however the default representations of some items are too limited, so BE allows you to override the default displays with your own customisations.

Modifications are made through:
Main Menu > Database Management > Database - Question Management > Question - Edit > Select the campaign > Select the question whos visualisation you want to change > Down in the "Grouping Options" section is "Visualisation Option"

The customisations are entered in a single line of data separated by semicolons.So, in the Visualisation Option box if you put

blShowBar=false;strListing=AlphabeticAZ;strLimit=5;

The bar chart would not show, the listing would be aphabetic from A to Z and only the top 5 items would be shown.

Here are the options currently available.

== Show | Hide Elements ==

By default both bar and pie chart will be shown. You can turn one or both off if required.

* blShowQuestion=false; //Hides the entire question <br/>
* blShowData=false; //Hides the data elements and just leaves the visualisations<br/>
* blShowBar=false; //Hides just the bar chart element<br/>
* blShowPie=false; //Hides just the Pie chart element

== Listing ==

With lists with lots of items in them, the sorting of the elements can become very important

* strListing=AlphabeticAZ; // Sort the answers alphabetically from 0 to 9, A to Z
* strListing=AlphabeticZA; // Sort the answers alphabetically from Z to A, 9 to 0
* strListing=QuantityLeastMost; // Sort the answers, with the least frequently occuring at the top. Each amount item is alpha sorted as well.
* strListing=QuantityMostLeast; // Sort the answers, with the most frequently occuring at the top. Each amount item is alpha sorted as well.

== Limit ==

For VERY long lists, it may be more advisable to limit to a specific amount of answers, like the top 10. The limit option allows you to specify exactly how many items to limit to.

* strLimit=10; //This will limit to the top 10 answers.

Customer Effort Score or (CES) is the current trend in measuring your customers opinion of your business.

There are a number of good articles explaining the subject available in the public domain.

'''Net Promotor Score''' : [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_Promoter_Score]

'''customer effort score''' : [http://www.verintblog.com/index.php/tag/customer-effort-score]

'''Forrester Research Communities: Customer Effort Score''' : [http://community.forrester.com/thread/4504]

'''Are you stuck on the delight the customer merry-go-round?''' :[http://genroe1to1.genroe.com/2010/09/19/are-you-stuck-on-the-delight-the-customer-merry-go-round/]

bxp software implements a specific CES question type and report which can be integrated into Outcomes, for realtime communication with the customer or can be sent as part of marketing campaigns to do market research on your customers.

The scores feed into a central customer record, so every time an agent creates a case, logs a record or does an outbound with the customer they can see instantly the NPS score, the CES score or both from the last interaction with the customer.

This ability gives the agent huge forewarning as to what kind of reception to expect and also to be able to leverage the siutation to improve customer loyalty and satisfaction.

BE has undergone a number of releases since its first designs in 2005.

Our first public release was in 2006 internally, which saw many of the initial concepts of time management and user management on single pages.

bxp software Release 2 (BER2) was in late 2007 which was the culmination of many months of refinement and saw the module structure and initial completely self contained web management interface.

BER3 was in May of 2008 and had the first pass of formal documentation and support material.

BER4 was in Decebmer of 2008 and included the video training, the new BE cube and shield logo. Numerous new functions and cross browser compatibility was introduced, especially for the release of IE 8.

BER5 was in December of 2009 and saw the launch of the new eCourse and eLearning modules.

BER6 was in May of 2011 and after working with Contiuum, the completely overhauled user interface was launched.

BER7 is scheduled for June 2012 and will bring to life the Quality Assurance modules and introduce the new Security Groups option which is implemented module wide.
