Admin Istrator:

=Introduction=
All n One operate a number of internship programs.

Here in All n One we have a number of close relationships with Universities and Institutes as well as International Student Placement organisations. Having had so many staff that have been through academia and realising the immense value of having practical work skills, All n One strives to offer an environment where students can come and experience a real-world work placement situation.

We have had numerous successful placements and helped a number of students go on to gainful employment. We've even been lucky enough to retain some of that talent.

=Placement approach=
Our placements are based on the concept of giving the student real, meaningful work to do. The work itself will take the form of a project. The student then develops that project to the best of their ability in order to learn as much as they can from a real world setting.

All n One gains work done on an area where current resources can be directed to but have identified as meaningful work.

==Steps==
The process begins with project descriptions being circulated to the institutions. Alternately some organisations circulate lists of placements and their skillsets. In which case projects will be matched to skillsets.

An interview is performed and the student is presented (where travel permits) to the environment.

If All n One and the student agree, the placement is confirmed. Every student placed is required to sign a Non-disclosure Agreement to ensure confidentiality. All internships are unpaid.

The project placement will follow an ADDIE approach [[All_n_One_Project_Development_Approach]].

The first few weeks are orientation before the project begins in the Analysis phase of ADDIE.

For 3rd year students the aim is to find a project that could also evolve into their 4th year project as well.

Students for each phase are required to produced documentation, perform the work including interaction with members of staff and give presentations to management on their progress.

We work very closely with the relevant institutions to ensure processes and procedures are completed as required.

=Previous placements=
All n One are proud of our previous internships.

Content retrieval is the set of rules used to interrogate the data in an email and strip out what is required from that content. You can have as many rules as you like and trial and error usually dictate how effective your rules are.

Each rule is in the format

StartCharacters#EndCharacters#DestinationField#Location~

Take an example email

<syntaxhighlight lang="html4strict">
You have received a new voicemail from 0811111111 -

From Caller ID 0811111111
To voicemail box 1401 - Video 1401 GXV3140 Received 12/09/2012 13:52:02 Duration 00:00:23
we want to extract the duration data.
The rule would look like:
<syntaxhighlight lang="html4strict">
Duration #vbCrLf#strCDA_X_field_0_0#Body~
</syntaxhighlight>

The text we want to start at is [Duration ]

We want to end at the return character at the end of the line. So we use vbCrLf (Visual Basic Carriage Return Line Feed). This could be a space caracter or anything. Just our example uses a return.

strCDA_X_field_0_0 is whatever field in your campaign database you want the data to go into.

Body shows this data is in the body of the email. You could alternately use Subject.

The result of this rule will extract 00:00:23 and put it in the field strCDA_X_field_0_0

Content retrieval is the set of rules used to interrogate the data in an email and strip out what is required from that content. You can have as many rules as you like and trial and error usually dictate how effective your rules are.

Each rule is in the format

Take an example email
You have received a new voicemail from 0867952818 -

This is an '''EXTREMELY''' important part of the System Champions role when setting up a campaign.

==='''Field Mapping – Manage'''===
Here is where the Data Field, Database question and the New Column Name are displayed within a particular campaign.
*The New Column Name field can be edited, and it is very important to make sure each field in this column have unique names.
*For example – if there is a Complex Address Field in the campaign – you must distinguish between each field in this block – Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Address Line 3, in the New Column Name, as opposed to Address, Address, and Address – which would be incorrect.
*'''Always''' go to '''Field Mapping – Manage''' after building a campaign to ensure that the column names are mapped correctly to the question, and there are no duplicates.
*This is important for importing a data file, for example an excel spreadsheet.
*The headings in the Excel spreadsheet to be imported must match the column names in the '''New Column Name''' in the Database - Field Mapping section of the system, so they can be added to the system successfully.

N.B. Field mapping has had a challenge in the past with reserved or chacters that can cause trouble in Excel. The process of updating the field mapping names will automatically remove, single inverted commas, semi colons and commas. The field names will also be trimmed to remove leading and trailing spaces. So [Name';,`1 ] will become [Name1]

==='''Field Mapping - Reset'''===
*This allows you to reset the fields names back to the defaults when the campaign was first built.
*This action is irreversible so be very careful when doing this action.

'''Creating users in BE'''

Creating new users in BE is as easy as a walk in the park.

Log into the sysetm

From the Main Menu, find the module called System Access Management (SAM)

In SAM, open up the "User Administration" section

Click on "Add User - Security Details Only"

Then fill in the details and click the sections you want the user to have.

Done and dusted :)

'''Couple of useful notes:'''

1. Although creating users is straight forward, it may be easier to "Copy" a user. As this will tick all the same sections and grant permissions identical to the copied user.

2. For mass user loading, BE allows a list of users to be uploaded and using an existing user as a template create as many users as you need. (Eazy-peazy)

3. Often our users will "Add" a user using "User Setup Requests" and "Request New user". This user will not be live, but can be edited to change their status from "Pending" to "Live"
